![]() ![]() Tennant has included his original ending to the film but the changes made are slight. There’s not much else to shake out of the DVD. Even technical details are easily explained plus Tennant reveals the quirky real story that rather tenuously inspired the movie. ![]() Chatty and keen to share his thoughts you’d struggle to sit through the whole thing in one sitting but he doesn’t bore. ![]() Tennant also manages to talk about things other than Reese. He punctuates his audio commentary on a features-light DVD with sighs and compliments all about Reese. Our reviewer found plenty of holes to poke in this feel-good comedy romance but her ample stock of "perky, kooky, charming mannerisms" soon rendered him spellbound, as it seems was the case with director Andy Tennant. Reese Witherspoon is at that time in her career when it seems we’ll forgive her anything.
